    Where To Find Me

    HERE... on Xanga.

I will be here on July 15, 2013. I will be here on July 16, 2013. I will be here on February 14, 2015 saying "Happy Valentine's Day" to all the TBO's (which should be well over 200 by then). And I will be here on December 25, 2021 wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and celebrating my 20th anniversary on Xanga.

    Why am I saying this?

Because I want people to know that while many people are preparing for life away from Xanga, there are plenty of people who are not only sticking around, but looking forward to the renovations that are taking place and what they bring. There are also a ton of people contributing to the crowdhosting campaign: HERE. I think it's important to point out that, according to the number of crowdhosting rewards claimed (which only amounts to approximately $8,500), there's been more than $10,000 contributed in addition to memberships purchased. Many people have contributed to the campaign just because they love Xanga. That's very encouraging.

I do understand that not everyone can or even wants to stay. And that's fine. People have their reasons. They are free to choose and free to have their opinions. I just want make it very clear that when this ship finally leaves port heading for Xanga 2.0, I'll be on board.

  • yeah I will be still on Xanga if it does get the target amount, even though I might not be able to blog straight away.

Xanga will always been in my heart and mind whatever happens.

  • AWWWW look at you on that boat..so cute!!

  • I'll be here til the end, and hopefully I'll be here for the bright new beginning!

  • I've spent way too much of my shift at work playing with WordPress.. I really enjoy it.. but I'm very confused with a lot of what is going to actually happen. And with the chaos Xanga is in right now I can't seem to find my answers.. So I hope you don't mind if you I ask away on your blog ;) . I get that Xanga is going to move over to the WordPress scheme.. does that mean Xanga would be compatible with other non Xanga Word Press users or would Xanga be kind of in it's own bubble?

  • wow 2021. Are you not the CEO of Xanga? If anything, the Captain, of the boat at least. haha

  • you should be xanga ambassador. your face should be on the welcome page

    who wouldn't trust that face

  • @my_final_username - Same for me.

    @Kris0logy - haha... thanks, Sis.

@thegunslingergirl - I'll save you a seat on the boat next to me.

@nachstenliebe -  Feel free to ask as many questions as you want! My guess is that it WILL be compatible, but it won't LOOK like WordPress. A good example of this is how the CBS Network has customized it so that all of their local sites look the same (which look nothing like WordPress) but you can still sub and follow their site if you're logged into WordPress. Here are links to the local Los Angeles site: http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/ and local New York site: http://newyork.cbslocal.com/.

@seven45 -  LOL I'll be the captain if they let me wear the hat.

  • @bonmots - I do have a rather "I can trust that guy!" look, don't I?

  • The title to this weblog had me thinking I as going to be reading a completely different entry. I'm glad to read you will still be here, as will I. :)

Not sure what will happen to my credits I may as well hand out some Minis!

  • I am inspired with your blog. We have to keep xanga going bec this place is worth the money and the fight. Xanga brings us closer to people who are willing to listen and give advice. The community we have here is what makes xanga stand for such a long time.

  • You can be my Captain any day Riis. I have to age with your sweet Sis also . . . sooooo cute.
