First of all, get your mind out of the gutter. All better? Okay, good.

Now, have you ever felt like the person who shows up to a room full of people laughing at a joke that you missed hearing by seconds? It's in this moment that you realize 1) that to tell the joke over again just so that you'd know why they were laughing would effectively ruin the moment, and 2) you will forever be out of the loop in future references to said joke that you, unfortunately, never heard.

I HATE being that person. Well you know what? It's sort of the same feeling you get when you realize someone has a protected list and you're not on it. Amirite? So I have a proposition... if you have a limited number of spaces on your protected list, don't worry about putting me on it. Just send me a private message with the contents of your protected message and I'll be satisfied. I just don't want to be left out. Because we ALL know that it's even MORE awkward to pretend to laugh at a joke you never heard.
