It's less than three weeks til the baby's due date. Sadly, I haven't taken a lot of pictures of my wife during this pregnancy. Mostly because we've had so many things going on that it hasn't been a priority. But while at work today, I found myself wishing I had a picture of her. See, over the course of this pregnancy, my wife has appreciated my constant reassurance that not only do I think she's beautiful, but pregnancy on her is hot. Now for those of you who may be unwed and childless, I wouldn't necessarily expect you to understand. But I'm certain that there are many of you who will. She asked me one day,
"What makes it so attractive?"
"There are so many things about it, but I'll tell you a couple of the main reasons. First, you have to remember that men tend to be very visual, and I'm no exception. Everytime I look at you, I'm reminded of how you got that way. Memories give way to flashbacks which lead to thoughts of how and when to get with you again. I want to recreate that moment and every moment since. It's not that I don't see that your body is changing, but the reason it's changing stirs something inside me. It draws me to you.
Then, I'm often overcome by this intense sense of ownership. Meaning that I recognize the fact that you're carrying MY child, and all that you are going through because of it. It's a combination of love, empathy, compassion and pride. And being that I already find you amazingly attractive, I realize that nothing could be more beautiful than that." 
It was exactly the kind of thing that she needed to hear. So much so, that had she not already been pregnant, what took place next would have most certainly assured it.

I enjoyed all 3 of my pregnancies and felt gorgeous (for the most part) throughout it all...
It's wonderful that you can be so honest with your wife - and that you're not just telling her she looks "fine"!!

I loved being pregnant.
My gosh she looks so gorgous pregnant! She has such an adorable perfect belly. I am jealous! Mine never looked good. And still doesn't, and I'm not even pregnant. haha.
And yes be agood husband and let her know about the compliments. She will appreciate them. She looks beautiful and she needs to know it. She has that pregnant woman glow about her.
I am glad for Dre that she has you to tell her how amazing she is. I only wish 2 things....

I agree with everything you said, my wife being pregnant with our third.
But I think you left out one important thing. The pregnant belly looks like a humungous third boob.
A friend of mine just last week told me he found pregnant woman attractive. I wondered why and asked him, he couldn't put it into words. You just did well done, mystery solved.

@alterEGGO - I'm with you. I wish every pregnant woman knew how special she is. I can't imagine a woman dealing with pregnancy AND an unsupportive spouse.

I am thankful to have a husband that expresses himself just like you have and i am so blessed to be loved even when I feel to huge to feel lovable!~ Every night when he gets home from work he always lets me know how much he enjoys looking at me. It's very pleasurable being a preggy woman with a supportive man!
