Anyone else notice the addition of the speech bubble in the menu bar at the top? Now it shows you how many pending comments are waiting for your approval. Slowly but surely Xanga... slowly but surely.

So, knowing the capabilities of the WordPress engine, I decided to try and upload an audio file and see what kind of things I could do with it because, you know, Xanga makes me happy and stuff. But... apparently, MP3 files are a threat to this little blog community of ours.

So it's a No-Go for Audio at the moment. I do hope that gets fixed soon.

In other news, THIS is new, yes? I don't remember seeing it initially. Maybe someone else can confirm...

I do miss the ability to type out a quick little something, if only to say good morning to the greater Xanga community each day. But with no real Front Page available yet, people have to make a conscious effort to read anything I write (and a big thank you to those who DO stop by). Anyway, I hope there's some equivalent of Pulse being considered. Otherwise, I'll just have to use my QuickPress and do something like this each day.

I'm making steady progress toward my goal of being completely shredded for my #birthday this year (which is in T-24 days). I started on July 15th and told myself that I would do whatever it took to get myself to a place of looking and feeling... fantastic. Not for my wife. Not for my friends or co-workers. Not even for my coach/trainer. But for ME. This is a gift to myself. Health. Energy. Loving life. It is a gift that has been long delayed... one I should have given and received years ago.

For anyone wondering, my birthday is September 30th. It tends to happen once a year.
